🦎 Mondeo Mk4 Dash Lights Not Working

I have no 3rd brake light in the middle of the tailgate top. The indicators on the tailgate don't work and the passenger side 501 bulb on the headlight doesn't work. Fog lights and reverse work ok on the tailgate. Trying to find out how to remove the middle brake light strip at the moment. Not great. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 3. responses. When lights switched on engine mis-fires runs rough. car runs fine but when headlights switched on car runs rough and will not pick up revs problem not too bad if only side lights only on. 2003 1.8 petrol manual. Posted: Mar 16, 2011. 1. response. Auto xenon headlights set to high mot failure. Rear Fog Lights Bulb Fault. I have a Mondeo MK4 2008 and to make the long story short i've changed almost all the rear bulbs (2x break, 2x fog, 2x reverse) with Phillips Vision Plus (50% more light). I used the proper bulb models becouse i consulted the manual (used bulbs with same wattage). Everything works ok, lights up ok except the fog lights. Check the illumination of other switches, they use the same illumination source, from the light switch. Also double check fuses F46, F67 & F68, they all supply the cluster (IC). See what else works, like wipers, lights etc. They are controlled from a separate module, if most of them work, then at least battery power is getting to some of the car. Sounds like a couple of broken wires, all right. A cheap and cheerful multimeter from the likes of Maplin or Halford's should do the trick. Disconnect the brake light, _turn on the ignition_ to position 2 (i.e. gauges on, not starting the engine) and have someone push the pedal while you measure. AFS module does control cornering lamps. You could try disconnecting the battery to see if it "resets" it. If there is, or was any kind of short in the bulb or wiring it will probably just switch off, rather than blow a fuse. Check the headlamp plug as well for tightness or corrosion. They tested the screen with some kind of meter and claim the screen is ok , so we tested the fuses for the screen which according to the manual are 61 and 66 @ 40amp. Fuses were ok . so we then gently laid the new screen on top and wired it up and it still wouldn't heat up. He used some kind of digital thermometer thing and it didn't Hi My 09 tdci Mondeo MK4 has a strange temperature gauge issue. Sometimes it will appear ok (it never goes past halfway) but most other times not really. Usually it will warm up fairly slowly and only get up to halfway when at speed (60+), slowly dropping down to 1/4 or just below when encountering towns/traffic and driving at a lower speed, but occasionally it does spend most of the journey See if the wipers work, your lights should deffinitly come on though. take your hand away and let the lights go out. Now throw some water over the sensor area and see what happens, hopefully your wipoers will work but your lights will not come on. Unless ford have done a double, and decided if its raining lights should come on too, which I Thanks raynkar, I brought mine to a specialist repairer. The repair is actually to source and replace the LCD rather than repair the LCD. It cost me £100 just to have it checked out. Mk4 Mondeo Parking Sensors Not Working. Just bought a 2010 Mondeo Tit X, everything is great apart from the parking sensors. When you put it in reverse I get a long beep, and the ON light flashes on the dash button. I have checked all sensors and they dont seem to vibrate as advised on a post here. It has front and rear sensors. Today randomly had the rev counter and speedo not work at all during a drive. Everything else was fine on the dash, engine ran fine. Was fine after a power cycle. Hooked it up to a scanner no extra DTCs or codes. Then later that evening battery low message came on. Checked voltage was low. battery only at 25%. Makes sense as have been doing .
