If I am not mistaken I do believe the alignment specifications 'should' be the same for most R129s. After all it is the same chassis only different motors. Perhaps we can request for further verification from other members. This is for 16" - 19" M-B wheel sizes, lugs, offset's, and tire sizes for the R129. Example: 9.5" rim w/ ET40 and a 9.5" w/ ET23 = -ET17mm/25.4mm= -0.67 inch inside of the wheel to the strut. Hi, the trans in the R129 500SL is known as "Sportsmatic" (4sp auto to 1995 then 5 speed auto to 2002) which is an auto that can be changed manually. I think they are all like that but did hear of a smaller 6 cylinder model with a manual but I am dubious.
